Questions You Might Have

1 Which WiFi version should I choose? +

The 5GHz version supports both 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi bands and is the more flexible choice. The 2.4GHz version works only with 2.4GHz networks. If your router broadcasts both bands, the 5G model is recommended. Just make sure your phone and the feeder connect to the same WiFi network during setup.

2 What happens if the power goes out? +

The feeder runs on the included AC adapter (110-240V). For backup, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) and the feeder will continue dispensing meals on schedule even during a power outage. Your programmed settings are saved in memory.

3 Can I use wet food or large kibble? +

This feeder is designed for dry food only with kibble sizes between 3mm and 15mm in diameter. Wet food, semi-moist food, and oversized kibble can clog the dispensing mechanism and are not supported.

4 How do I clean the feeder? +

The stainless steel bowl lifts out for easy washing. The food hopper and body can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The desiccant pack inside the lid helps keep food dry and fresh between refills. Avoid submerging the electronic base in water.

5 Which app is better, Pet Zero or Tuya? +

Both apps work, but Pet Zero is the recommended choice. It is purpose-built for this feeder with a simpler interface for scheduling meals, viewing the camera, and reviewing feeding logs. The app supports English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Arabic, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and more.
